Escaping [Through My Lens Nr. 233]

This Saturday almost felt like a normal day for me. But in reality I just switched houses to stay in. My mom and I drove up north to Jablanica to visit my grandma and bring her food, since she can't leave the house during this crisis. Then we drove to our mountain house, where i moved the lawn and enjoyed the time around the house. It was nice to do these mundane tasks. But this Sunday things changed. We have a curfew in place now, so that we can't leave the house after 6pm until 5am. Tomorrow is another work day for me. We are not meeting with clients in our office so there is no contact with others. That makes it a bit easier. We are trying to make the best of it. Take care of us and people around us first. We will make it through this and life will go on. The only thing that is hard is not knowing when it will end. I hope everybody here is safe and that you are taking care of yourselves. Please stay inside and safe. Before we know it this will be over and life as we know it will go on. A bit different perhaps, but it will continue...

  3. Now I am worried about your grandmother, if you can’t go to her. We are still allowed to shop for groceries and at the drugstore. And are hoping to be able to travel back to Oregon. Be well and safe.

  6. Beautiful photos, Mersad! Here in Spain we can't leave the house except to go to the supermarket, pharmacy or doctor. Hopefully these measures will work and we'll be able to go out again soon. Glad to hear you are safe. Take care.

  7. I think in Italy you are no longer allowed to visit your weekend house - I think it's the staying in your centralised location. Maybe it was Norway. Strange times.
    Stay safe and chin up!!

  13. Beautiful blue skies and scenery. What a blessing for your grandmother to have you guys visit, and sad that now people can't. In Ohio, it is the same. Can only go out for essentials and most all are closed. Stay well, and thanks for hosting and sharing your lovely photography.

  14. We also began our government ordered lockdown - two weeks minimum - in Greece. It can be done and we will get through this. I only wish other country's were taking it as serious as yours and ours.
