Early Autumn on Mountain Prenj

This past weekend was filled with a return to a familiar place. With the summer heat passing by, spending time in nature becomes much more pleasant. We are still experiencing some late summer heat in the city, but the mountains are a perfect getaway to catch some fresh air and enjoy walks outside. We didn’t spend too much time in our mountain cottage this summer because of the heat. This weekend, the kids, Beni and the rest of the family enjoyed nature, and escaped for a while from the city. The time of harvest is slowly approaching and apples, pears and plums, in our trees are ripe and ready to be picked and eaten. It wasn’t a very fruitful year but nonetheless there was enough for us. As the day fades away the air in the mountains, becomes crisp and fresh. Beni and the kids enjoyed themselves on the outside, and I’m sure they all returned home with happy memories of a weekend gone by.
