A Family Visit to Dubrovnik [Through My Lens Nr. 447]

This year, we decided to kick off our summer a little early with a trip to Dubrovnik. This happened actually a month ago, but I didn't have time to post about it yet. Known for its stunning medieval architecture and breathtaking coastal views, Dubrovnik was the perfect choice for our family getaway. With the two boys Mak and Isak (Beni was there too, but not on this day in the old town, he slept in his hotel room), we spent five magical days exploring, playing, and making memories that will last a lifetime. The last time I visited Dubrovnik was back in 2017, so this was a much needed refresher. It was also nice to have the whole family on a road trip, something we don't get to do as much as we would like to. After checking into the Valamar President hotel, we set out for a leisurely stroll around the Old Town. The ancient stone streets, towering city walls, and vibrant market stalls were a feast for the eyes. Mak was particularly fascinated, while Isak enjoyed the attention he received from friendly locals and tourists alike. We had a great time and I look back at this short 5 day trip with fond memories.
