Yesterday morning, I woke up to something I never really expect here in Mostar: snow. Soft flakes were falling quietly, and when I looked out from my balcony, the ground was already lightly covered. It felt surreal. Snow is such a rare guest in Mostar that it immediately turns an ordinary morning into something special. I took a few photos before heading to work, but even during the day I couldn’t stop reaching for my phone. There was something incredibly calming about watching the snow fall, slow, gentle, almost suspended in time. The city felt quieter, softer, wrapped in a brief winter stillness. By later in the day, the snow began to melt, as it usually does here. The white traces disappeared quickly, leaving behind wet streets and memories of a moment that passed almost too fast. But for one morning, Mostar gave us a small winter surprise: a serene, fleeting snowfall that felt like a gift.
