Dusk on Mountain Rujiste [Through My Lens Nr. 544]

My visit to mountain Rujiste came at one of those perfect moments when the day slowly begins to surrender to the night. As the sun disappeared behind the mountains, the landscape was washed in soft shades of gold, orange and deep blue, and I spent the last light of the evening capturing a series of dusk photographs. The quiet mountain air, the silhouettes of the surrounding peaks and the changing colours of the sky gave Rujiste an almost dreamlike atmosphere. Sometimes the most memorable photographs come from simply staying a little longer and watching the light fade. As I drove off the trees rushed by me, swallowed in the darkness.
