This was taken with my iPhone the other day. I noticed this blossom high up in the tree so i had to take the phone camera out to take this. I edited it in the phone with the Camera+ application.Glad to see spring arriving.
Thank you for the comment. I thought about this statement a lot in the past. I don't think you can just buy a camera and be done with. Many people have phones with good cameras but they don't use them properly. It's about learning the craft and books, lenses, bags and tripods will help you accomplish just that.
On the other side there is the quality. An iPhone can never replace a real camera, nor should it. It's fun for images like these (and you always HAVE to process them) for a blog and such, but for prints, serious work etc. nothing beats a good big heavy lens and camera.
Hello! My name is Mersad, and I live in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On this blog I want to share images and stories from my travels, everyday life, friends and family.
When I see examples such a this I often wonder why I spent so much $$$ on cameras, lenses, books, bags, tripods, etc. Why didn't I just get an iPhone?

And to add to my comment.. I would agree that for the casual blogger who goes on shoot-outs often, a light iPhone would be perfect. I give it that!
ReplyDeleteNicely balanced image and I agree with your comments Mersad.
