I loved this little quaint town Vrbnik. It's a village on the east coast of the island of Krk. The village is perched on a limestone outcropping 50 m above the Adriatic Sea. Originally a walled town, Vrbnik was established in medieval times. Vrbnik has around 900 inhabitants during the winter period and around 2000 inhabitants during summer. The humble way of life of Vrbnik inhabitants initially did not make Vrbnik an especially attractive place for tourism, but it has shaped it as a day trip destination where every visitor of the island of Krk has to come in order to taste zlahtina along with other gastronomy specialties of the island. I had a lovely pizza in the town pizzeria called "Gospoja".
