Heatwave in South Europe [Through My Lens Nr. 449]

We are having one of the biggest heatwaves here in South Europe. It has been increasingly hard to go to work, go shopping or do any other activity besides sitting at home. The only time I can go out with Beni is very early in the morning and even then it’s already warm. Judging by the weather report this heatwave will soon pass, but even though there is a promise of cooler weather, I still know that the whole summer season is ahead and we are surely to experience more heatwaves like this one. There is no denying weather patterns are changing and every summer is getting warmer and warmer. Work is still not winding down, so that will be a challenge going forward. I like summer only when I'm in the shade on the beach, otherwise this season is really paralyzing for me. Luckily vacation is only one month away...
