My 39th Birthday Weekend

For my 39th birthday, I wanted something relaxed, sunny, and filled with the people I love and Korčula gave us exactly that. We spent the weekend at Aminess Port 9 Hotel, enjoying the resort atmosphere, the sea breeze, and that easy island rhythm that makes you slow down without even trying. The best part was sharing it with family and friends. Jasmina and Amer were there with Mak and Isak, who brought their usual energy and sweetness to the whole weekend, while Selma and Laszlo came with baby Ella, making the trip feel even more special. There is something beautiful about celebrating a birthday not with a big plan or a packed schedule, but with walks, laughter, coffee, kids running around, and everyone simply being together.

Although we stayed mostly at the resort, we also made time to walk through the old town of Korčula, one of those cities that feels like it was made for wandering. The narrow stone streets, sea views, old walls, and warm Mediterranean atmosphere gave the weekend that perfect island charm. It was the kind of place where every corner feels like a postcard. It was a simple but truly great birthday weekend: family, friends, the kids, good weather, beautiful Korčula, and a reminder that the best celebrations are often the ones spent with your favorite people.
