Just as I was about to relish in the beauty of early spring here in the south of Bosnia and Herzegovina, rain has returned to these corners of the world. I will say though, that I am very grateful for the rain when it comes to our garden. The grass, plants and fruits in the orchard have been growing nicely because of it. On the other hand, the rain does hinder me from going out. The north of the country is even supposed to get snow, which will be interesting if it really happens. The middle of April is filled with rain, sunny days long gone, but there is the promise of their return, so I'll look forward to that.

Delete...I love the fresh greens of spring.
ReplyDeleteVery nice and fresh photos!
ReplyDeleteyour new patio is looking really good, send a little rain over here, our drought continues.
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll get rain there soon.
DeleteLovely greenery! I hope you had a great Easter, Mersad!
ReplyDeleteYour spring is further ahead than ours! The grass is still brownish and the buds have yet to burst open with promises of sunny days.
ReplyDeleteNot surprisingly your spring is well ahead of ours. Our grass has turned green, but we have yet to see any green leaves. I am sure the sun will return to you soon.
ReplyDeleteThe South of Europe is always a step ahead I guess :D
DeleteThe rain is bringing so much green!
ReplyDeleteIt is truly a wonderful spot. You are a lucky man.
ReplyDeleteSo much green! I love photo #5, it reminds me of warm rainy days. It's not summer yet, but the feeling is nice.
ReplyDeleteThe grass is always greener on the side, especially if you water it, lol. We are enjoying our sunny days for a change. Stay dry and thanks for hosting, Mersad!
ReplyDeletewhat a lovely house and garden you have. So fresh looking with the rain. We are at the start of autumn here with coolness in the morning and evening, but beautiful sunny days. Enjoy spring.
ReplyDeleteThat's a wonderful time of the year as well. Love sunny autumn days.
DeleteYour rains produced deep vivid greens. Ours were more destructive this time, but left some interesting reflections in the flood waters.
ReplyDeleteI love your mountain house, the color is so soothing to the eyes and very welcoming. That slant glass window at the right side, what is the purpose in making it slanted? I thought at first they are solar panels.
ReplyDeleteThis is not a mountain house, but our house in Mostar where we lice. The purpose of them being slanted has more to do with design then anything else. Though they also provide light for the basement down below.
DeleteSo beautiful pics.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pictures, mountain house and color is looking amazing. Read more for holiday ideas.
ReplyDeleteApril showers bring May flowers for us to enJOY! We're getting rain here, too. But the flowers are blooming. Have a wonder-filled week, Mersad!
ReplyDeleteYou have some great shades of green in this series.
ReplyDeleteYour home is so lovely!
ReplyDeleteI do like rainy days and staying in with a good book or movie but too many off them and all I want to do is get back out again. The rain changes how things look and freshens everything. What a lovely outdoor area you have.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful pics. Thanks for hosting and have a wonderful rest of the week and weekend.
