Gardenwork in the Mountains [Through My Lens Nr. 185]

A long winter is over for our mountain cottage, and since my dad's passing no one has been back here. But with the start of April, as well as the Spring season, certain tasks had to be done, so this past weekend we ventured into the mountains for some light garden work. We had strong winds over the last few weeks and a lot of branches were cut down and all over the place. The grass had to be mowed, the house cleaned and old flowers and plants needed to be cut down. So we did all of that, and got the place a bit ready for the Spring season. The dogs were there as well, but as usual, didn't offer too much help...

Thank you all for joining me in another week of "Through My Lens". I am looking forward to your submissions this week. I hope you will have a good one!

  8. Fixed it. That was weird. Beautiful garden. That mountain makes it look like something in a story book. A fairy tale...

  13. Your mountain cottage is beautifully situated with the trees and the stream nearby. Maintenance does take a long time. I hope you enjoyed happy memories as you cleaned up the garden.
