Mak’s First Birthday [Through My Lens Nr. 336]

Time truly flies by. I can’t believe it has been one gear since my nephew Mak was born. We had a little celebration in his honor, which my family and I coupeled with a trip to Austria. More from the trip will be posted soon. We did see a lot. For this post I wanted to share some of the images from the birthday celebration. Mak had a special little cake made from fruits and other ingredients he can eat. He did eat two slices from it so that was good. Beni was there as well. So far Beni keeps a bit away from Mak, aproaching him sometimes for a kiss, and Mak wants to pet him but mostly with too much energy. I think Mak needs to grow a bit. He is almost walking. Right now he lifts himself up but can’t stand too long. It’s a waiting game. The birthday celebration was wonderful and a nice way to get the family together.

Thank you all for joining me in another week of "Through My Lens". I am looking forward to your submissions this week. I hope you will have a good one!

  2. Mak's eyes and face reflect someone who's watching and paying a lot of attention! I suspect he will prove to be VERY intelligent. My best to you and all.
