Neretva River in South Mostar [Through My Lens Nr. 485]

I am taking a break from my Istria travel series, since I has the flu the last few days. But I will be back with that shortly. In this post I will share some late spring images from Mostar. I took a slow walk along the Neretva River, heading south where the city thins out and the water flows more gently. The air was filled with the scent of blooming trees, and the river shimmered as clouds filled up the sky. We in fact had a strom that night. On other nights and evenings, the weather is different. The sky above is vast and clear, scattered with stars that seem to lean in close. In that still moment, between the hum of the river and the hush of the night, the world felt wide open and calm.
