Restaurant on Buna River [Through My Lens Nr. 490]

It is always a challenge to escape the summer season here in Mostar. It is also a challenge to find new places where you can escape to when the heat in the city just gets a little bit too much.luckily we found such a place south of Mostar this past weekend. It is a restaurant called Laks and is also a fish farm on the river Buna. There is a huge open space with a playground for kids and the food is freshly served and very delicious. The kids had a great time playing and we could watch them the whole time. The foodwas really delicious. My family got ustipci, which is a sort of pancake that is served with savoury sides like cheese and smoked meat. I had the fish platter for one person which included a fish cake and two sorts of fresh fish. It was all great, and we stayed there until night and the kids played for a long time. I’m sure we will make it back here on the weekends that will come.
