It has been official for a time now, but the end of another summer season is upon us, and we are left waiting for fall to arrive. The End of Summer brings with it many thoughts and feelings. One could argue that summer was bland this year (and that person would be in the right, mostly), but nevertheless the feeling of summer ease has been with us.
Now that the days start to grow shorter, rains fall into the lands, and winds of a new season swift through the air, it is clear, that we have to get ready for new sights ahead.

These hills above Mostar, are getting swept up with more winds as the days unfold, which you can see nicely in the following shot.
The end of summer has been followed with heavy rainfalls as well as moddy weather. The changes of the seasons are more and more apparent.
Even though we're already in September, this quote fits well.
“August rain: the best of the summer gone, and the new fall not yet born. The odd uneven time.” ~ Sylvia Plath
What does the end of summer look like in your part of the world?
Stunning landscapes........and skies in many moods.
ReplyDeleteLovely photos!
Thanks for your visit.
DeleteSpring is good and so is autumn. Winter can be magical but I find summer uninspiring.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos as usual.
I like autumn the most, but there is something to be cherished in every season, I think.
DeleteLovely photos evocative of the season. I am a summer person even though it was rather mediocre this year.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful colors. I love the drama in the clouds (in the last two images)... fall is on it's way.
ReplyDeletewe're toasted brown and waiting for rain to rejuvenate the yard, pastures and the pond. :)
ReplyDeleteDefinitely nice skies, great shots!
ReplyDeleteWonderful!
ReplyDeleteI like your two sunset shots.
ReplyDeleteDear Mersad - Your photos are stunning as always, making me into different mood. I can feel the wind, cool air, and a little warmth from the setting sun. Autumn is my favorite season and I’d like to enjoy the gradual changing from summer to autumn.

Mine as well. Love the transitional period that will occur now. Especially in nature and landscapes. Thank you Yoko for your visit and lovely comment.
DeleteSuch beautiful, moody skies! We're having some of the same as we move into a different season! Superb, breathtaking captures as always, Mersad!! Thanks for sharing the beauty!! Have a great weekend! Oh, and thanks again for the Tuna Salad recipe, it was delicious!! Have to make some more for my weekend!!
ReplyDeleteSo glad you enjoyed the Tuna Salad. It's a second to make it and it's so delicious. I try to make it as much as I can.
DeleteYour photographs leave me speechless.

it may be the odd, uneven time of year, but it is truly beautiful. each photo is so different but the same, the light and the colors are magnificent. can' wait to see The House Reveal.
ReplyDeleteI hope I will do my announcements justice :) Thanks for sticking with me. Have a great weekend.
DeleteAll great, but love the first rainstorm picture the most!
ReplyDeleteI am ready for fall, but definitely not winter for a while.
ReplyDeleteI agree.
DeleteBeautiful images!!!
ReplyDeleteOur end of summer here looks - hot and dry. The hills are brown from the third year of drought, the creeks are dried up. The leaves are turning. Fall certainly is upon us - my favorite season.
I hope some rains will come and visit soon, to refreshen the dry lands.
DeleteBeautiful serie and dramatic sky in the last two shots.
ReplyDeleteSee you
Stefano
I am in awe of how stunning your photos are, they just take my breath away. The colors, the details the scenery is all just amazing. Sadly with my camera gone I'm not able to document the end of summer here right now. Trees are starting to change color though and the air is cooler.
ReplyDeleteDid you notice that the rock formation in the 2nd shot looks like the head of a cat.
Thanks so much for your lovely comment. Too bad your camera is gone, I hope you'll get to shooting new images soon. The rock formation looked to me like a broken off pyramid, but I guess in all the shapes and lines everyone sees something different :)

ReplyDeleteExcellent landscape photography! A beautiful location, and you capture it well.
ReplyDeleteWundervolle Fotos einer grossartigen Landschaft (irgendwie wilder als unsere Harz-Berge)
ReplyDeleteSchönes Wochenende
Marvelous photos of the landscape and atmosphere. Amazing !
ReplyDeleteBest regards, Synnöve
The scenery is spectacular!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous!! The colors of Autumn can't be beat. I'm ready for Fall to be here and cooler temperatures.

ReplyDeletenice weeken! Hilde
We are definitely in a time of transition and have had frost the last two nights. Your views are stunning and bring home the beauty of each season.
ReplyDeleteExcellent images, poetically displayed. Now that we're having a few nice days I am loath to embrace colder ones, but I guess I'll enjoy the autumn when it arrives.
ReplyDeleteYes, summer is over for another year. Good thing you have photos to help you remember!
ReplyDeleteSo lovely, Mersad! The images speak to a feeling deep inside one's soul. Would love to see this place someday.
