Back Home from Sweden [Through My Lens Nr. 125]

You might have noticed that it got usually quiet here on the blog for the past 10 days, but the reason or that was another trip. I visited Gothenburg and Stockholm in Sweden for seven days and had a really great time. I somehow managed to cram in another trip in the middle of a busy work month. This now means a new travel series is in the works, and I hope to share most of it before the end of this year, but maybe we will even have an overflow into 2018. Sweden was really great, even in the winter months. Yes, the days are shorter and it could be cold, but the country is really too special to be missed in these months. You can expect a lot of festivities, blinking lights of the season and amazing architecture, especially in the old town of Stockholm. So please stay tuned for more, as I start editing the images, and catch up with your blogs as well.

Thank you all for joining me in another week of "Through My Lens". I am looking forward to your submissions this week!

Now I want to see what you have been up to. Link down below and share with the rest of us!

  7. Will be interesting to see Sweden through your eyes, Mersad! ;) It's been many years since I last visited Stockholm myself. Or even Gothenburg (although that's not really very far from where I live)!

  13. Some of my relatives came from Sweden so my family has some Swedish traditions at Christmas. One is making Spritz cookies from a recipe that has been handed down from my Great Great Aunt Mary. - Margy

  15. It looks dark and cold in the North but still quite pretty. Are those Christmas market stalls I see in one of your photos?
