Welcome 2021 [Through My Lens Nr. 273]

It's easy to think about the New Year as a start of something new, though in reality it's just a continuation of life with all its ups and downs. Nevertheless, the feeling of starting fresh can be as invigorating as being just born into the world. There is so much riding on this year, so many hopes and wishes, so many expectations. It's so important right now not to rush, to stand still and take notice of the world that is still in shambles. It's a process to get things going again and if you are not careful mistakes can be made. In that sense I wish us all strength, calm and rationality to push through the rest of the pandemic, to see and respect the world anew and to take time to notice the little things in life that have showed us what we truly need to survive. 

I wish you all a great start into the New Year, much health and happiness, and above all a return to life as we knew it.
