A Weekend Barbecue [Through My Lens Nr. 340]

I haven't posted about our mountain cottage in quite some time. The truth is we haven't been visiting since fall. But now that the days are warmer and summer is almost there, it was time to return and spruce the place up. My friend Selma and I went there with our dogs. While they played we cleaned up a bit and then prepared everything for a small barbecue. The weekend before the grass was mowed and much of the outside cleaned up. It takes some time to get everything going again, but we managed to do so. For lunch we had chicken wings and fillets, boiled new potatoes with pesto and onions and a fresh garden salad. We stayed the whole day and after work enjoyed the fruits of our labor.
