Train Station in Graz [Through My Lens Nr. 339]

I love train stations and trains. I think they are the best way of transportation, especially in Europe, where every station is located in the center of the city. During my recent trip to Austria I made many visits to the Graz train station (mostly because i was close to our accommodation and they had a grocery store open longer then the others in the city). The station is really beautiful and has great architecture. The inside is very spacious with interesting murals on the ceilings. I loved the book shop there as well. It's like a little mall within the station. The Austrain Railway has really beautiful trains and I managed to snap some shots of one that was waiting at the station for a new journey. I recently bought a book, called Train Travel in Europe which is really good. You can travel the whole continent with trains and it's rather marvelous. It's a "road" trip I hope to take one day...
