There’s something truly magical about dusk in Venice. As the sun dips below the horizon, the city transforms into a dreamscape of soft golden hues and fading light. The canals, once alive with the bustle of boats and gondolas, become serene, reflecting the colors of the sky like a painting. Walking along the quiet streets, the sound of distant conversations and the gentle lapping of water make the world feel still. The iconic bridges and ancient buildings, bathed in twilight, hold a timeless beauty that’s hard to put into words. Venice at dusk is not just a time of day—it’s an experience, one that lingers in your heart long after the light has faded.

ReplyDeleteI spent 2 weeks in Venice one Carnivale - I had the best time. I was after a leather Commedia Dell'arte mask so people were sending me to mask makers workshops or houses. It was fabulous to get off the tourist trail...tho the tourist trail was pretty spectacular too!
