Brunch on New Balcony [Through My Lens Nr. 528]

 

The new balcony is slowly coming together. While it's not completely decorated and lit, I still used it for a small family gathering this past week. I ordered a outdoor rug, bought a small table and put up some decorations. Nothing fancy, but it is cozy and nice to sit outside now, while the summer heat is not here yet. I made brunch for the family. Some muffin-sized firtatas, turkey meatballs, zucchini fritters and protein pancakes with fruit. The kids gobbeled everything up, and the adults didn't lag behind that much. I love these types of gatherings, where nothing major is celebrated, yet the day is remembered in a nice way later. It shows us how even simple days can be elevated to something special. Once everything is put into place I will post an update again!
