Seascapes in the Golden Hour

There is no more beautiful light then the light of the golden hour, and almost no better location then the open sea. I took these during our summer vacation, and since they didn't fit any particular part of the recent travel series, I decided to spin them out into this post.

In the distance the Fortress of st. Nicholas can be seen, bathed in the light of the setting sun.

The small bay that we visited has small boats docked on a pier.

The sun setting behind the trees on the beach.

Another view of the fortress.

And then there is this big anchor on the beach, which is really great up close.

Thank you for visiting. I hope you enjoyed these sunset images.

    1. Thank you. I like the tree shot as well. Took me some time to get the exposure right, since I didn't want a silhouette, but both plains equally lit.
