We embarked on a new path which took us further up the mountain. As we made the curve and started going up the hill, we had a great view of the Glogosnica river valley. The small, same named village, could be see in the far distance. It was very hot and I was ready to head back into the woods again. Before we knew it we were at the top of the hill and the walk in the mountains continued, with the forest surrounding us.
This is a multi-part photo series. Other parts include:
Part One: Through the Forest
Part Two: A New Path
Part Three: Wilderness of Prenj
I love the many details in the valley, like the cows on the road, but I was also amused my the macros and sights from the deep woods.
Beni and Brownie were in front of us, bravely exploring the territory in front of us. I actually went back to the car and we drove a part of this road (which was very bumpy) since we found out that the road is very long and we wanted to see as many sights as possible.
In the little spot where we parked the car again I saw this little field going downhill, with a big tree in the middle. I thought it was very idyllic.
The mountain tops of Prenj could be seen in the distance, and we actually enjoyed walking in the shades of the trees. There was much more different sights here then in the first part of our hike.
Eventually we headed even deeper into the woods, for the furthest part of our journey. But the images from the wilderness of Prenj will be shown in part three.
End of Part Two
To be continued...
Der kleine Ort an dem kleinen See liegt total idyllisch, gefällt mir sehr gut.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful hike Mersad. My favorite thing about exploring in the mountains is the contrast between the expansive views and the tiny wonders you see along the paths. You show both so beautifully. Amazing country!
