Hike on Mountain Rujiste [Through My Lens Nr. 314]

As I am writing this heavy rain is pouring down and the skies are gray and dark. It seems impossible to comprehend that only a few short days ago, everything was sunny and bright. These images were taken on moutian Rujiste this past week as Selma and I took Beni and Brauni out for a good walk. The mountains are always a good place for that. It was somewhat warm actually, and we even got to lay in the field and enjoy the sunshine after the hike. It's not a terribly difficult hike, but we did manage to get 3,5 km (2 miles) in, which was nice. I loved this huge barren tree that we came across. It's the next image down. It is located in a place where the road forks and it seems so ominous. Beni and Brauni had a great time of course. Beni slept the rest of the day, did manage to make the hike (I only carried him a bit in the end). He is 13 years old and still so active and bouncy.
