We are taking a small break from the Japan travel series today (but if you missed the first three parts you can click here), to bring you some images from my recent travel this past weekend. I love visiting Split in Croatia. It's only a two hour drive from Mostar and the Adriatic Sea is always so calming. The old town of Split has been explored many times on this blog, but I rarely got the time to take photos at dusk. The sunset is different on the seaside, the afterglow lingers much longer in the sky and surroundings. I also love this late autumn/early winter period because the crowds are gone and you have the city pretty much to yourself. There are some early Christmas stalls on the promenade, ringing in the upcoming Christmas season.
