Storm on the Horizon [Through My Lens Nr. 463]

From my hotel room in Split, I watched as a storm approached, transforming the serene Adriatic horizon into a dramatic scene. Dark clouds rolled in at dawn, their edges illuminated by fleeting streaks of lightning, while the wind sent ripples racing across the sea’s surface. The contrast between the brooding sky and the vibrant lights of the city created a striking interplay of chaos and calm. It was a mesmerizing display of nature’s power, unfolding against the backdrop of the city, and the surrounding islands. As the day approached the light cleared up the darkness of the storm, but the day continued to be windy and rainy.
