In this post here i showed you the center of the town of Korcula. It featured a big church on the right side of the image. In the next photo you'll see the sculptures above the entrance. It is actually forbidden to take photos inside of the church, so this is the closest I could get.

Too bad you can't take photos inside. The outside is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI know. You can sneak a camera in, but they have security checking you out. They sell overpriced photos of the church inside of it :D
ReplyDeleteGreat looking place it is a shame that you can't take photos inside and sad that commercial profit is more important. The Abbey at Selby North Yorkshire,( See one of my posts} allows you to take any photos you like as do most churches in the UK. The only place that does restrict photography is at railway stations Terror threat etc... However if you ask permission it's usually not a problem
ReplyDeleteNice one..........
ReplyDeleteThank you NPT!
ReplyDelete@Picturit: I hate it to when greed and commercial profit overwhelm the experience. I mean this is a historical object from the 12th century. I should be available for everyone to see and photograph.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful, i like your photo titled ancient church, its awesome and that panorama of 12 poto's is a lovely.... nice work on that... i'm yet to get a hang of panorama's with so many shots
ReplyDeleteThank you Samson. Panoramas are not that hard once you get the hang of it. It's just important to use a tripod and have a fast computer in post, because it takes up a lot of ram.
ReplyDeleteFantastic!
ReplyDeleteThanks Kathy!
