My goal for today is to bring some sunshine into your world, if only through the screen of your computer. These landscapes were taken during early autumn and they always remind me of light and happy times. I hope to take you away, for a short while, from these cold days. Even though this is autumn in the southern part of Bosnia and Herzegovina this still means warm days.

Of course Beni had the best time, being off his leash and roaming freely in the surroundings. You can imagine how fun it was to clean him up afterwards :)
Most of the hills are bare and covered with a treeline here and there, but there is also a part that is covered with a deeper forest. I always like to view this entrance to it, and wonder where the path will take you this time.
Then there is the pleasure of lying on the grass and either looking up at the sky and seeing the clouds roll by, or look into ground that is covered in flowers.
I hope your week is going well, and that you are enjoying the winter season. Just a quick blog update: I have added a new link at the top of the page called "Recipes". If you click it, you will be able to see all the posts that are related to cooking and food.
What a ray of sunshine for those of us getting more snow today....Beautiful countryside and the entrance into the forest looks very intriguing....Beni is a gorgeous dog and you can just tell he was having so much fun running freely....
ReplyDeleteThanks so much Nancy. Really enjoyed your latest blog post!
DeleteBeautiful landscape shots! Your little dog is really cute. Looks like he had fun!
ReplyDeleteHe really did. He loves being out in the open.
DeleteMersad, it is just so beautiful there! I love the vibrant fall colors.
ReplyDeleteThanks Mona.
Deletelove the daisies and the blue skies. i've got a blue sky post coming up later this week, too, just to break up winter a bit. :)
ReplyDeleteLooking forward to it.
DeleteBeautiful Beni! And everything else that's not winter-related! Thank you for the sunshine!
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by Nancy. Glad you liked it.
DeleteBeni almost looks like he is smiling.
ReplyDeleteI know. :) I have a lot of pictures of him where he looks like he is smiling :)
DeleteBeautiful images, Mersad. I really like the colors in the photo of the forest entrance. Looks like Beni was having a good time.
ReplyDeleteHe really did. I, on the other hand, didn't have a good time, picking out various finds in the filed, that got stuck to him :)
DeleteAh, color and light! Gorgeous captures and I do appreciate them as another storm approaches. I bet Beni was a mess to clean up after that jaunt!
ReplyDeleteYour bet is right :) Thanks Sarah.
DeleteSuch wonderful, warm, sunny captures for the day, Mersad, and I do love Beni!! He is such a happy, smiling little guy!! Reminds me of how much I miss my Sam Schnauzer!! His death left a BIG hole in my heart!! Hope your week is going well!! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteSo sad to read this. But thank you for visiting. I am hopeful that these images brought at least a little bit of warmth.
DeleteI love daisies and have never seen a field that full of them. all of the photos are bright and cheery and happy and gorgeous....
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra.
DeleteThe sky and some of the terrain looks very much like Southwest USA. Blue skies make such a difference in mood during a cold day.
ReplyDeleteThere is a resemblance, I agree. The typical days in these regions are warm and dry, which creates lots of dried out flora.
DeleteHello, Sky King. Looks like I came by at the right time. We need a little sunshine in Georgia today. We have snow sitting in the trees and are awaiting some ice. Your photos are not only excellent, they are comforting on this cold, cold day. Love those brilliant colors.
ReplyDeleteGlad I could help out. :) Thank you Patty.
DeleteVery pretty. The third photo, with your dog racing through a pretty scene, is the one that best grabbed my eye today.
ReplyDeleteHe always grabs anyone's attention. :) Thanks just his style...
DeleteBeautiful views! Beni is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteThanks!

ReplyDeleteGlad you liked the images.
DeleteBeautiful views but the wild flower meadow is wonderful.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteIt worked! Thank you. I like the one of your dog and those daisies are a dream.
ReplyDeleteThanks Valerie.
DeleteTruly gorgeous vistas Mersad.. I have to say though I have more than enough sunshine right now, way too much in fact :)
ReplyDeleteThen avert your eyes. Winter images coming soon! :D
DeleteLovely, sunny photos! Your little furry friend seems to enjoy the sunlight, too!
ReplyDeleteHe did. Thanks Betty!

DeleteYou are an interesting young man, and quite talented, and I am so happy you came by my blog to visit one day and have stayed as a friend! These photos are just beautiful...the golden browns of fall is a range of gorgeous color, splattered with little stars of other hues (the flowers, the pomegranates) and crowned with glorious azure! Any of one of these shots could be enlarged, framed and hung, and I hope you do have a venue where you show your work in that way, as well as here on the blog. Loved seeing your sweet little dog again too.
ReplyDeleteThanks Marie for your lovely comment. I really like to read your blog and see all the visits and trips you undertake. Thanks for your support.
