I have talked about the River Neretva numerous times on this blog, and in this post I want to show you some impressions from the southern banks of the river in the small village Moruga. The water sometimes overflows the banks in the spring season, causing nearby trees to be drowned. There are a couple of interesting sights here, which I hope you will enjoy!

Of course Beni just has mischief on his mind.
Have a great weekend ahead!
Very nice. You captured the shine on the water very well. It is quite restful looking at water scenes.
ReplyDeleteThank you Valerie.
DeleteBeautiful green and aqua tones!
ReplyDeleteAny body of water whether is is an ocean, lake, or river is a place of pleasure for me. It looks like a wonderful place to visit, think and contemplate.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is. Not many houses here, so you can really take in nature.
DeleteI love the views from in the shade out into the water!
ReplyDeleteThat river has such pretty colors and shades.
ReplyDeletethe color of the water is amazing and you already know my favorite today is Beni and all those gorgeous trees.

I love the last photo of Beni, he looks like he's having a blast! LOVE the color of the water too.
ReplyDeleteHe really did have a great time here.
DeleteNijedna druga rijeka nema tako divnu boju!
ReplyDeleteSlažem se! :)
DeleteI've never seen or swam in water that color blue/green. I'm jealous. Beautiful images, thanks for sharing :)
ReplyDeleteThe Neretva river is well known here for its green colored water bed, which makes the water appear green in places.
DeleteSuch tranquil river scenes!
ReplyDeleteThose scenes are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteNice photo's again. I especially like the one on the waterside with the hole in the green and the dog running between the wine or fruit plants.
ReplyDeleteHello Mersad, pretty views of the river.. I love the water color.. And Beni is always a treat to see. Wonderful photos, have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteGreat river shots and the trees are great too.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite is the second one. Not sure why I am drawn to it but love it.
ReplyDeleteYou captured the mood very nicely - I really like the colors of the water.
ReplyDeleteJust beautiful! The colors are so lovely, and the shade makes me feel so peaceful while looking at these images...and then galloping Beni, pure joy! :-)
ReplyDeleteThe water colors are pretty- we have quite a few rivers and streams that are high right now with all the rain we have gotten this spring. Beni is having a wonderful time, isn't he!! :)
ReplyDeleteI so much enjoyed the photos. As usual, you treat us very well. Thank you so very much!! AND I loved seeing the dog running and you got a great picture. Made me smile! Bless you...
ReplyDeleteThe color of the water is amazing -- especially for a river. Beni is too cute!
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the aqua color of the water. Beautiful images. :) Happy Spring!
ReplyDeleteNice shots! I always wonder if they trees get damaged by so much water--and then, just the fact that they are still standing answers my question!
ReplyDeleteThis is a rare occurrence (that's why I snapped some photos of it). The river usually stays in the water bed.
DeleteDelightful views of waters and scenes by the waters. Love the colours.
