This past weekend was filled with a visit to our capital city Sarajevo for me. There I had the pleasure to go on a special playdate. My friend Berina rescued this little dog a couple of weeks ago and has been nurturing him back to life. His name is Bingo and he is a real bundle of joy. He was found near a dumpster with cuts all over his body. After the shocking discovery he underwent surgery and is fully healed now. He is temporarily living with Berina and her family until they find him a new home.
We arranged a shooting on the Vilsonovo Walking Lane, which is a great spot for a walk along the Miljacka river. Here in the greenery Bingo could roam freely and play (he was on the leash though, since this was his second time outside after his rescue - he needs to take it slow).
Bingo is such a charming little guy (soon to be bigger). He is very cute and loves people. He met me for the first time that day and was a bit shy in the beginning but eventually started to warm up and play along.
The clouds started to gather and shed the first drops of rain, so we packed up or belongings and headed back for the car. Rain would indeed start falling later that day, so we went home just in time.
You can find Bingo's whole story on Berina's Facebook profile, and get more images and adoption info. The link is here.
Awww , so cute!

ReplyDeleteI agree. She is very active in that field and I like to help as much as I can.
DeleteHe is beautiful. I would have him but he looks to have some Beagle blood and hounds are the very devil to train. Probably be alright if I tied him to one of mine for the first week or so. Pity i'm so far away.
ReplyDeleteWe actually the last dog my friend Berina rescued was adopted into the UK!
DeleteDas ist ein absolut megasüßer Hund!
ReplyDeleteLiebe Grüße
Danke Dir! :D
DeleteBingo is adorable! If I lived closer, I would totally adopt him.
ReplyDeleteI bet he would love it being there with you!
DeleteBeautiful, adorable pup. So glad he found his way into your loving arms. Sweeeet babi. What a tragedy to be left like that. He is a handsome fellow and looks like he's gonna be a big ol' baby boy.
ReplyDeleteHe sure will. He is in good hands now :D
DeleteIt breaks my heart to think anyone could hurt such an adorable little creature. I'm so glad your friend has rescued him. He looks happy and healthy now.
