Neum is the only coastal city of Bosnia and Herzegovina. I have visited it previously and shown it to you. This time we came back for lunch, with the intention of moving further east on the Adriatic Seacoast, to visit some new places. But more on that in the next post. It was a sunny day and we did come prepared with our bathing suits, but unfortunately the water is still too cold, so swimming was not an option. I have to say the blue of the sea was inviting though.
We ate lunch in the Restaurant Laguna. We had octopus salad, with homemade tuna spread, date shells, muscles all cooked in white wine, parsley and garlic sauce. Very delicious.
Empty plates and full stomachs. It was actually hard to move on after this lunch, but we had more planed for the day. The rest of our trip in the upcoming post.
Now I want to see what you have been up to. Link down below and share with the rest of us!

DeleteLooks like a beautiful place to be and you had a lot of fun, I think!
ReplyDeleteHave a great week, Frauke
Looks delicious :)

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful place to have lunch. Your photographs radiate colour and make me want to go on holiday now.
ReplyDeleteThat blue does look inviting but I have to say it would have to be very warm for me to take a dip!
Looking forward to seeing some more from your trip.
Thanks for hosting and I hope you have a wonderful week.
Ich liebe Meeresfrüchte, aber die schwarzen Muscheln habe ich noch nie probiert. Schöne Bilder hast uns wieder gezeigt.

The place is so tempting with the blueness of the sea and such delicious seafood. I like the reflection on the glass and water. You made me hungry.

ReplyDeleteOh my, while I loved the blooming flowers, it was the photos of your lunch that made my mouth water and it is only 7 a.m. on the US west coast but I am ready for lunch!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous place! That blue water would make me want to dive in too. And your lunch has made me very hungry. :)
ReplyDeleteyour food pics are always a work of ART
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful, everything. Lunch looked delicious!
ReplyDeleteIt is only 10:30 in the morning here and now you have made me hungry for lunch ... not just lunch, seafood lunch. My mouth waters at the sight of and your description of the food. A lunch with fresh seafood here in the Midwest of the USA would be very expensive so it is not likely I will be able to satisfy my craving, but I surely did enjoy that you were able to partake of such a treat.
