Sometimes the darkness is a welcoming veil that covers up what we want to stay hidden. It's a comforting notion that keeps us going and exploring, going deeper and deeper into ourselves. Life and nature are interconnected so parallels of that can be seen there as well. I have often said that dark and moody times in nature are my favorite backdrop for photography.
But once the light shines through things do change. It's in those moments that things become clear and shift towards something new. These images were taken in the Rujiste mountain range near Mostar on a moody January day. As the day wore on the sun did shine through and the sights became spectacular. See for yourselves.
Do you like moody times in nature for photography? Are you more keen to sunny sights?

Beautiful photos of the area around Mostar.
I do like the "moody" feel a lot of these shots have. - My absolute favorite here is the grasses.
