Winter Reflections [Through My Lens Nr. 178]

It's that time of the year when you wish winter away. When the thought about thick coats and strong winds makes you want to curl up and sob. February has always been a month of turning and changing. Winter has a way of slowly saying goodbye, but as we all know, the night is darkest before the dawn. So in that sense, there is a bit more winter to get through. It as a time for thought and reflection, though. I try to use this time to think ahead, prepare for spring, warmth and changes. So in these last weeks of true winter, use the hibernation and the quiet to get ready for the things to come.

Thank you all for joining me in another week of "Through My Lens". I am looking forward to your submissions this week. I hope you will have a good one!

  4. Your photos look a bit like the high desert (although those tufts of grass will probably be lush and green come spring). I could use a bit of the cold from up north right now. I think New Zealand is having one of its warmest summers ever.

  5. Is that pyramid an old Tank blocker? Where are you? Was it a battle field?

  6. We are struggling with winter conditions getting home from our rental RV trip to Arizona. The Pacific Northwest is having record cold and snowfalls just when we want to get home. - Margy
