Spring on the River Neretva in Mostar is a breathtaking experience that awakens all the senses. As winter retreats, the Neretva comes alive with vibrant turquoise hues, its crystal-clear waters shimmering beneath the growing warmth of the sun. The iconic Stari Most, or Old Bridge, stands proudly over the rejuvenated waters, reflecting the beauty of the season and drawing locals and visitors alike to its cobbled pathways. Cafes along the riverside reopen their terraces, offering perfect spots to sip Bosnian coffee while listening to the soft rush of the river below. The surrounding hills turn lush and green, and birdsong becomes the daily soundtrack. Spring here feels like a celebration of life, gentle, vivid, and deeply rooted in the rhythm of nature and tradition.
