This month marks the 10th year since i graduated from high school. While life goes on and many things have happened since then, it's nice to take a look back and mark the occasion. With a couple of friends of mine I organized a small get together for the 10 year anniversary. Around 30 people came and we also invited some of our teachers.
Me in my old classroom, my handwriting on the chalkboard reading: 113th generation of Gymnasium Mostar
The celebration began in our high school. It's the orange building in the shot above. We organized a visit to our old class room, where we caught up with each other and took a look through old grade books. Some of the people I was in contact with, other I hadn't seen in along time.
Selma and I in the shot above. We used to share a desk during 4 years of high school. In the image below it's me and our class teacher.
We moved the celebration to the Old Town of Mostar where we met up in a hotel. We had dinner there and celebrated into the night with music and dinner.
It's fun to look back into the past, especially into your own one and mark important events. We had a great time, and hopefully we will continue to honor this tradition.
What a wonderful thing to do and I am sure it was tremendous to see everyone again and you all looks like you are having lots of fun. Now I nitce in the last shot that huge hood, your camera lens must be enormous. Thanks for sharing.

DeleteBeautiful photos. Thanks for your post :) Greetings.
Wow! GlG Anne
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! It's good to look back and see old friends and memories. Thanks for sharing!
Toll!
ReplyDeleteLG susa
Looks like a nice time!
ReplyDeleteHi Mersad,
Manche ekennt man u.
Britta
You certainly know how to enjoy life. You are a wonderful organiser as well as your other talents. Fun to see all those happy faces!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you all had a wonderful time getting together.
ReplyDeleteThanks for taking us along!
Love that beautiful night shot.
everyone looks like they were having a wonderful time remembering.. and what view to have while doing it.. love that night view.
ReplyDeleteThe whole group is going to want a copy of that night shot of all of you against that beautiful backdrop. I agree with Kate about your many talents.
ReplyDeleteLooks like you all had a great time at your high school reunion. Your class had many beautiful women in it. I also notice your handwriting is wonderful. Mine never was. Hope you can get together for many more reunions in the future. We seem to make life long friends in high school.
ReplyDeleteOh you are so young! :) How wonderful to reconnect with your high school friends and teachers.
ReplyDeleteIch habe dir Bilder schon in FB gesehen. Toll!
Yeah, that night shot is perfect! My 10th reunion was quite a long time ago. But I remember it! I'm glad yours was a good time.

ReplyDeleteLooks like fun! The school is unique on the outside.
ReplyDeleteThis looks like a lot of fun. Ten years since high school? I am not going to admit how many years since college it has been for me.
ReplyDeleteJesmo onda. Završio 2006. sa srednjom školom. :)
DeleteWhat a lovely school and how terrific to see your classmates again. I like going to my reunions, too, but our crowd gets smaller and smaller every day.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing about the graduation celebration. I am planning my daughter's birthday party at one of the stylish venues in San Francisco in a couple of weeks. Bought a cute dress for her. Will order a colorful cake. Also preparing invitations and return gifts for all her friends.
