Moody and stormy weather doesn't necessarily have to mean that you can't take good photos. The trick is finding subjects that can be used for that. This post is filled with long exposure shots of the Buna River Canals just south of Mostar. There is a small and narrow bridge here that crosses the river Buna which flows into the river Neretva at this point. The canals here are popular for people who like kayaks, but it's also a dangerous spot, since the water is very fast. Once you cross the bridge to the other side, the road forks into two different paths. Both of them follow the railroad tracks. One north, the other south. There is a popular cycling route here called "Ciro" (meaning: Steam Train) which connects Mostar with various places in south Bosnia and Herzegovina. On this moody day though, the wind was quite strong so the little excursion had to be cut short. I do hope you will enjoy the shots.
