After a long day, I took a slow walk through the city park Zrinjevac in Mostar, letting the cool air settle everything back into place. The paths curved gently under the soft glow of street lamps, their warm light spilling over the grass and benches like small islands of calm. Zrinjevac feels different at night. The children’s playground, so full of energy during the day, stood peaceful and empty. Swings barely moved, climbing frames rested in silence, and the winding paths seemed to belong only to the footsteps of late walkers like me. I love how the park becomes a place for reflection once the noise fades. The shadows stretch longer, the air feels fresher, and even familiar corners look cinematic. Walking past the benches and under the trees, I felt that quiet gratitude that only comes during these small, ordinary moments. A night walk through Zrinjevac in Mostar is not dramatic or grand. It’s simple. Warm lights, cool air, soft silence. And sometimes, that is exactly what you need.
