Everyone has a favorite season. I have often stated that I love late summer and early autumn, because where I live that means nice longer days filled with enough warmth, but also fresh nights. And then there is this lovely transition in nature, where everything is still in place, but the colors, mood and feelings change. I just love it.
Here are some images from that time, and I hope to persuade you into liking this period of time too (if you're not already doing so). :)

And while we're on the subject of turning, here is one of Beni, jumping and totally carefree. But be warned, if you stare long enough into this image, you'll get dizzy too!
What is your favorite season and why?
I love the which ever season we are going into the best of all.

DeleteFall, fall, fall...I love the cool crisp air and the leaf colors. I just don't like that it leads to winter. Terrific images and the portrait of your pup is terrific.
ReplyDeleteThis totally depends on where you live. For some people winter is very harsh and they don't look forward to it. I am not a big fan of winter too, but I can't stop liking this time of the year, just because of the dawn of another season.
DeleteI have bitter sweet feelings about Autumn. I could thoroughly enjoy Autumn if I just didn't have that nagging thought that after autumn comes winter. Winter here in the Rocky Mountains of Utah means snow, ice and cold, and I'm NOT a winter person. I would say my favorite season is late Spring when it is warm and the spring flowers are at their most radiant!
ReplyDeleteIt's so interesting to read this, since for example here in the south of Europe we don't really get that late spring feeling. Here we jump from cold days to hot days very fast!
DeleteAgai a lot very good and nice pictures Mersad..... good work !
ReplyDeletegreetings, Joop
Thank you for visiting.
Deletehere in Florida we don't really have to much of a change, we are sub tropic, but my favorite time of the year is Nov/Dec/Jan.... cool at night warm in the day time. our trees and plants stay the same. i love the trees in your first shot and that sweet face with the pink tongue and the bouncing in the grass
ReplyDeleteMust be quite interesting to have everything in bloom in December! :D
DeleteThat close-up of Beni is just wonderful! Fall is my favorite season because I love the cool crisp air and the colors of the changing leaves!
ReplyDeleteThanks so much for visiting!
DeleteI agree, I miss the fall. Where I live now the whether is practically the same all year around.
ReplyDeleteToo bad. But there is something positive to be found in every region.

ReplyDeleteSieht auf jeden Fall klasse aus.

Das erste Bild ist kein HDR, habe aber den Himmel etwas verdunkelt, kann also daher das HDR Gefühl rüberbringen.

DeleteSplendid photos, Mersad! Love the first and second. That pup sure is cute too. Fall has always been my favorite season. I love the changing colors, the warm days, crisp nights - I could go on and on!
ReplyDeleteThat's good to hear. Love your autumn shots lately!
DeleteLovely photos.
ReplyDeleteThanks Randy.
DeleteSeveral fine photos here. I like fall better now that I spend the winter in Florida. In the past, I couldn't enjoy fall as much because I knew that it was leading to losing the leaves from the trees and cold weather as winter came. Now, my winters are wonderful down south.
ReplyDeleteI bet they are in such a warm place of the earth!
Deletevery nice photos!
ReplyDeleteevery season has its charm ...
There is also something to be said about this.
DeleteI tried staring at Beni...
ReplyDeleteOkay, I love autumn for all the reasons you mentioned,. Although I feel sad that the colours are due to dying leaves I am filled with anticipation about the new life waiting to show.
There is some melancholy in everything changing, but there is also the promise of return...
Deletesuch glorious photos! i particularly like those pink daisies? and beni is such a cute pie! gorgeous portrait!
ReplyDeleteThanks Betty.
