Even though this past work week was filled with undecided weather, it started to stabilize towards the weekend. These regions are known for hot summers and mild winters, and I wanted to show that symbolic climate in these golden sunny hills, not far from Mostar.
The Mediterranean climate makes it the warmest city in Bosnia and
Herzegovina with mostly sunny days and clear blue skies. The Neretva
turns the dry arid surroundings green with figs, kiwis, grapes, pome
granites, rose hips, and even mandarins and lemons.

What climate/weather is your city known for?

ReplyDeleteLike something out of a story book, Mersad. I love the second one with the road running through it.
ReplyDeleteThanks. That is a local road, that leads to a main street which runs through the hills.
DeleteWow, what dramatic scenes! Just beautiful. :)
ReplyDeleteThanks!
DeleteYour images convey a nice sense of the heat here.
ReplyDeleteNaples, Florida, where I live in the winter, is known for wonderfully comfortable winter weather when much of the northern USA and northern Europe is cold. In the summer, Naples is quite hot and humid, relieved only in the late afternoon by thunderstorms.
I know from Sandra, that the winters are almost non existent in Florida. I don't know if I would like the humidity, but I guess you get used to it, by living there for long. But I think (actually I know from your photographs), that those weather conditions make for wonderful imagery.
DeleteWhat lovely terrain you have to photograph! Impressive shots.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely gorgeous! Wonderful lighting!
ReplyDeleteInteresting terrain in the first photo. Very picturesque village in the second photo and taken from a nice high vantage point too!
ReplyDeleteThanks Paul for visiting and following!
DeleteBeautiful views, Mersad!
ReplyDeleteSome serious mountains, there Mersad! I can't imagine being where you stood taking the last picture looking down at the village. It must have been amazing. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteThe spot where I took this from is really beautiful, overlooking the whole valley.
DeleteThere's a certain attractive surrealism in these images Mersad.
ReplyDeleteEinfach nur wunderschön wie die Sonne mit ihrem Licht so ein wundervolles Landschafts-und Himmelspiel der Farben mit sich bringt. Man könnte sofort träumen.
ReplyDeleteLiebe Grüsse
Nova

ReplyDeleteWarm, interesting shots, well here, it's been gray gray gray and cold for an untypical length of time, just warming up here, on Long Island...
ReplyDeleteVery fine--- I especially like #2.
ReplyDeleteThe country side there is so different. Is that volcanic rock in the first shot. I really love the 2nd photo. So pretty and green with the lovely town dotting the countryside.
