Fun in the Snow [Through My Lens Nr. 22]

As we are waiting for some promised fresh snowfall this year, I'd like to look back at some snowy times from the past. Of course they feature Beni, who seems to be in his element when it comes to snow. He'll jump and play, and by the end of the walk outside, have big snowballs around his paws, which I have to remove so he doesn't freeze. But I let him have his fun. So for this last "Through My Lens" post in 2015 I want to show you so fun snow images from the years, in the hope that some fresh snow will greet us as well.

I'm one of those people who love snow. Maybe it's because of the fact that we get is so rarely here in South Europe. I usually have to travel up north or visit the mountains to capture and experience it. Although it's no fun for driving, when the days are sunny, some snow on the side won't hurt.

Of course we did battle snowstorms a few years back here in Mostar, and I often like to look back at those images, since they are simply strange for this city. In the end, for those who don't like the snow, staying inside the warm and cozy house is always the best option.

Now I want to see what you have been up to. Link down below and share with the rest of us!

  2. Can you believe I have only seen snow once in my life! And then it was only a light fall, but I loved it. We don't have snow in my part of the country, so I love seeing everyone's snowy images this time of year from the northern hemispheres. Wishing you a wonderful 2016.

  31. I wish for snow every winter. I grew up further north and we always had a lot of it. Here, further south in Canada, we rarely see any flakes. But I noticed the hills around town were white today, so perhaps we will see some.
Benji certainly seems to enjoy the snow! Beautiful photos of Mostar and the surrounding area.
