Kravica Watterfalls in Spring [Through My Lens Nr. 137]

In spring, this stunning mini-Niagara of 25m cascades pounds itself into a dramatic, steamy fury. In summer the falls are less impressive but surrounding pools become shallow enough for swimming. The falls are a 15-minute walk from a car park that's 4km down a dead-end road turning off the M6 (Čapljina–Ljubuški Rd) at Km 42.5. There's no public transport, but many Mostar group tours include a visit to the falls along with Blagaj and Počitelj.

Thank you all for joining me in another week of "Through My Lens". I am looking forward to your submissions this week!

  17. I see you are in my neck of the woods. We flew through Seattle yesterday on our way back from a few days in the Arizona sunshine watching baseball and softball games. We will be here in the Pacific Northwest (including a trip to Oregon) for two more weeks, then it back to our British Columbia home on Powell Lake. Enjoy your road trip and share lots of stories with us. - Margy
