Lunch at Konoba Hercegovac in Capljina [Through My Lens Nr. 143]

This past weekend was filled with many things. From perfect weather that led us out of the house, to huge storms that in return kept us locked inside. On Saturday, I went on a drive with with friends to Capljina, where we had lunch by the river Neretva in the newly opened restaurant called "Koliba Hercegovac". I ate their signature dish, a huge steak from the grill, with french fries, vegetables and baked potatoes. The food was really good. After our lunch we walked a bit by the river. Back home we had cherries waiting for us. Still not the big dark ones I like so much, but these early ones were really flavorful. Another storm seems to be on the horizon now. As I write this, thunder can be heard in the distance. Hopefully the coming week will get rid of this changing weather.

Thank you all for joining me in another week of "Through My Lens". I am looking forward to your submissions this week!

  14. The restaurant and food look very nice. I like the brickwork (archways) around the tables. It looks like a good meat and potatoes place. Are those candied cherries?

  15. Something is weird with the linky. It wants me to read/accept a privacy policy, but I don't see anywhere to accept. It won't add my link, which is http://www.lovethatimage.com/blog/2018/05/pink-rhododendrons-2/. Love your cherries so much!
