This past weekend I finally decided to head out to the sea for a swim. The past few weeks have been mixed with weather, but as the sun came back so did the heat and it was time to hit the road. I decided on a familiar establishment, the Radisson Blu Resort in Split. I only stayed for one night, but it's not the hotel that I was really after. I wanted to swim in the sea again. Of course it being late spring the water is not too warm. I like it a bit fresh so I didn't mind. The hotel has a pool and Jacuzzi so I did spend some time there as well. One thing I really love about the Radisson Blu (and no, this is not a commercial for them, I can only wish!) is the ambience and breakfast. It's a very relaxing place and they really do take care of their guests. Now another work week is upon me and the beautiful sights from the weekend seem like a distant memory.

Glad you had a relaxing time and a swim it looks a lovely hotel and a gorgeous location. Thanks for hosting and have a good week ahead at work.
ReplyDeleteThe location is really what's best. You have the beaches, but also lots of privacy, which is hard to find in a bigger city like Split.
DeleteA nice place for sure!
ReplyDeleteI did stay in a lot of roadside motels for a month in the US, I think an upgrade was nice for one night :)
DeleteThis is a beautiful hotel, Mersad, and the beach shore reminded me of the ones I saw in Italy
ReplyDeleteIt's the same sea on the east side of Italy, so the stony beaches are probably the same looking :D
Deleteit was many years since I stayed in a similar hotel :) Mostly it is lodges for me.
ReplyDeleteSame here. This is a rare treat for sure.
Delete...'Blu' sums it up!
ReplyDeleteSo beautiful hotel. Thanks for the post and pics.
ReplyDeleteHave a nice week ahead.
What a splendid idea! We stay n a lot of hotels over the year so I have a hard time justifying a stay close to home. But we really should do a mid-week stay nearby in one of the many little towns we have on the Great Lakes.
ReplyDeletebeautiful hotel, i like all of it, my favorite is number 10....

ReplyDeleteBeautiful beach location for a beautiful hotel. Weekend getaways are so important for hard working people (I remember those days). And we love a hotel with a good breakfast! Thank you for hosting!
