Around the House in May [Through My Lens Nr. 241]

May is in full swing and everything is in full bloom. The garden has taken a life of its own because of the regular rains and humidity. It's almost like a jungle out here. Beni has been enjoying his time at home with all of us. We still don't get out that much, because of the current situation in the world, so I like to make home as cozy as possible. I have been cooking a lot. Recently I made a lentil, spinach and mushroom dish (i haven't even given it a name) that I like a lot. I love lentils and have been on the lookout for good alternatives to meat when it comes to protein (even though I am not a vegetarian). At night the house lights up and the colorful interior invites you back in. I haven't experienced much of spring. Summer is just around the corner.

Thank you all for joining me in another week of "Through My Lens". I am looking forward to your submissions this week. I hope you will have a good one!

Now I want to see what you have been up to. Link down below and share with the rest of us!

  3. It’s good to have your own garden - you get to see some of Spring’s beauty without leaving home! .. . We are staying home except for short walks (with masks on). And like you both of us are cooking a lot more and trying more meatless meals. It’s a good time to experiment!

  5. That looks great (the lentils) - I have 2 vegetarians but they're also fussy eaters (not so big on vegetables???).
