As you may remember I visited Graz in March and posted a nightly stroll through the city. During our recent stay in Austria in May I got the chance to see the city again. This time more extensively and during the day. These images show the main square of the city and the streets that lead ti it. The pedestrian area is lovely and quaint, with the usual main stores dotted alongside it. I have ti say that in Graz all the main chain stores are better hidden in the architecture and don’t stick out too much. While we are on the subject of architecture, everywhere you look you will be amazed at the beauty of the buildings and how the city is put together.
Like Vienna and Salzburg, Graz is definitely one of the most worth seeing cities in Austria. Especially the extremely charming historical old town, with the famous Clock Tower as its landmark, inspires visitors from all over the world.
