A visit to Amadria Park in Sibenik [Through My Lens Nr. 345]

Getting away to the seaside before vacations seems like a necessary and luxurious thing to do. Of course there isn’t always time for that, but escaping during the weekends feels like a way of honoring summer and enjoying every moment before it’s over. These images were taken in the Amadria Park resort in Sibenik, Croatia. It’s a complex that was there in Yugoslavia, and has been renovated recently. Now there is a faux Mediterranean village there, shopping street but also beautiful parks, beaches and pools. It was great escaping here, but I am looking forward to my real vacation in a few weeks. I will be visiting a new Croatian island and you will be coming along of course. I hope you’ll enjoy these images and that summer is treating you well.
