15 Glorious Sights of Autumn

The days are starting to get shorter, colder winds are slowly passing through the land, and it is clear: we are on yet another seasonal change. As summer is slowly moving away, the days of beach-fun, traveling and relaxing seem to move away with it. But right now the most beautiful things are happening. Nature is changing in front of our very eyes. It is happening so slow that we rarely stop to notice it. Mostly by the time it's transformed and bare and cold tree branches see the light of the day, we start to notice it. The transition we miss.

Because of that I want to share my favorite autumnal images with you, and I hope they will be of inspiration for the the new season ahead.

  1. Beautiful pictures and just as I like the autumn. Looks at your pics like a Indian Summer^^

Over here you don’t know fall, not really to see in nature. Only that the days are shorter. At the moment we are having still summer-temperatures.

    Greetings

    1. In the north of the country (which is more elevated) we do get more of an Indian summer. Most of these have been taken there.

  7. Beautiful shots!
I hope to get some nice autumn shots myself - it hasn't really gotten started here yet. Just the slight change in the air that announces it will soon come.

  16. Incredibly beautiful! I love that mountain scene but really - all of them are stunning. I have to live vicariously through other people's fall photos. Here on the MS Coast, we don't really have a changing of the colors. Our live oaks don't drop their leaves, & our magnolias stay pretty green as well. & the palm trees...well. The ground gets grey & brown & our sky goes steely as the temperature drops a little but not much else.

Thank you for joining us for Photo Friday again this week!
