Pomegranates are in full bloom in the South of Europe right now. Their seeds are so healthy and tasty, and we have been plucking and buying them by the case load.
Fall in these parts of Europe has always been special. It lingers a bit longer then in other parts of the continent. Days are warmer then usual for this time of year and the bright colors hold their own. For us that means that the days are still nice, with late fall still reminding us of how quickly everything can change...

Beni is enjoying the days in the garden, jumping around and sleeping in the sun. He also got his fur cut and thus reduced his body size in half. Easier to clean him up now, too.
Hope you're enjoying your fall days while they last. You know how it goes. One day you wake up and the trees are bare, waiting for snow to arrive...
beni is very cute. enjoy your pomegranates!
ReplyDeleteOh, yes! Beni is so very cute, Mersad, seeing his pictures make me miss my dog, Sam, who died in May. It's hard to lose a friend! The pomegranates look delicious!! Hope you're enjoying a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to read that. I feel your pain.
DeleteNice photo's again Mersad.
ReplyDeleteGreetings, Joop
Thank you Joop.
DeleteHi Mersad. Well now that last shot of Beni just melts my heart. SOOOOOO Cute.
ReplyDeleteThanks Margaret.
DeleteBeni is really very cute - bright-eye little scamp! I really like Pomegranates. My husband is quite fond of his glass of Pomegranate juice in the morning with his breakfast.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good start into a new day!
DeleteI don't believe I've ever had a pomegranate. Maybe I'll have to take the plunge and try one. The leaves against the fence are beautiful. And Beni is just too cute. Is he a Bichon Frisé?
ReplyDeleteYou definitely should. They are delicious. Beni is a mix between a maltese and bichon.
DeleteI just love that first picture. It's so pretty. Pomegranates are such trouble...it's a good thing they taste and look so good.
ReplyDeleteIt is a bit of a trouble to get the seeds out.
DeleteWhat an adorable little dog and the autumn photos are a colorful sight.
ReplyDeletegreat shot and lovely dog
ReplyDeleteciao
Stefano
Nice fall colors! Unfortunately, we didn't have good color around here this year.
ReplyDeleteThat's a shame.
DeletePomegranates don't seem to have a role in my life. I will have to try them some time.
ReplyDeleteIt's odd to hear that from my perspective, when they are growing around my house! :D
DeleteGorgeous shot. How do you like the new Camera.. Is it all you hoped
ReplyDeleteIt really is. But I have so much more to discover from it.
DeleteI love pomegranates! Nice shots.
ReplyDeleteThanks Randy.
DeleteMoin Moin...sehr schöne Fotos ... Besonders das toll weichgezeichnete von dem Hund ( das letzte ) ist ganz nach meinem Geschmack !
ReplyDeleteLG und einen tollen Wochenstart
Danke Timur. Es freut mich das es Dir gefällt.
DeleteJust look at the colours in those pomegranate, makes my mouth water. Mersad, I've tried to email you but it keeps getting bounced back. Can you email me at paulinenz@hotmail.com with your correct email address, please. Cheers.
ReplyDeleteI e-mailed you.
DeleteI like the expression on Beni's face... a bit wary, methinks. Ah pomegranates, I would love to try one again. I remember picking out seeds, with a pin of all things! No health and safety regulations in those days.
ReplyDeletePicking out the seeds can be tricky but the reward is so big.
DeleteBeni looks great with his new hair cut. we don't have fall here in Florida, just cooler days, but everything grows year round here. we are in the sub tropics.
ReplyDeleteThat is such a different climate then we have here, but I guess you are used to it.
DeleteBeni is sooooooooo cute!!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos of the Pomegranates, with their colourful red seeds.
Wishing you a nice day Mersad!
Hilde
Thanks Hilde!
DeleteLovely shots!
ReplyDeleteBoth versions of Beni is nice.
Thanks!
DeletePomegranates are tasty and so bright and colorful. Love adding them to salads.
ReplyDeleteThat's a good idea!
