Visiting Budapest [Part 4/6]: More from the night in Budapest

Part four of the Budapest travel series, sees more images from a night out in the city. We went to the Fisherman's Bastion, because the view from up there is fantastic, and were not disappointed in the things we saw.

This Series includes:
Part One: Visiting Buda Castle and Fisherman's Bastion
Part Two: Visiting Heroes Square, City Park and the Zoo
Part Three: A Night in Budapest (1)
Part Four: A Night in Budapest (2)
Part Five: Visiting Great Market Hall and roaming the city
Part Six: Visiting the Hungarian Parliament

This is the entrance to the east side of the Buda Castle, gloriously lit in the night, with the blue laser rays, shining in the distance.

The funicular, shot from uphill looking down into the entrance. The rides end around 11 at night.

On our way home, we crossed the Chain Bridge, and I took this very minimalistic shot, that somehow does manage to capture the essence of this city at night.

You can book night rides on the Danube, accompanied with dinner and live music.

After a night out, we needed a pick-me-up, in the form of Oriental Pizza, dolloped with spicy peppers, feta cheese, olives and tomatoes. Yum!

This part concludes our nightly visit into this city, and the next part shows the city again during daylight.

  22. That 6D is very impressive as is your skill in using it. I've strongly considered getting one for landscape and still life. I need something with a faster fps for wildlife, but the low light performance of the 6D would be great for landscape work.
