Part Two: Visiting Heroes Square, City Park and the Zoo

This is the entrance to the east side of the Buda Castle, gloriously lit in the night, with the blue laser rays, shining in the distance.
The funicular, shot from uphill looking down into the entrance. The rides end around 11 at night.
On our way home, we crossed the Chain Bridge, and I took this very minimalistic shot, that somehow does manage to capture the essence of this city at night.
You can book night rides on the Danube, accompanied with dinner and live music.
After a night out, we needed a pick-me-up, in the form of Oriental Pizza, dolloped with spicy peppers, feta cheese, olives and tomatoes. Yum!
This part concludes our nightly visit into this city, and the next part shows the city again during daylight.

ReplyDeletebeautiful photos and grandiose nightscenes.

DeleteThat 6D is very impressive as is your skill in using it. I've strongly considered getting one for landscape and still life. I need something with a faster fps for wildlife, but the low light performance of the 6D would be great for landscape work.
ReplyDeleteIt's amazing for landscapes. The full frame sensor is really good.
DeleteBeautiful night shots, and beautiful portraits
ReplyDeleteHave a great W.E.
Stefano
