I have said it before, I love moody weather for landscapes. Yes, a bright sunset is wonderful, but if you want atmosphere, moody is the way to go. And even though the day on which I took this sea images, was bright and sunny, once the wail of darkness started to swallow the surroundings, other sights greeted me.

Thanks for stopping by. This was the last post for June, and I wanted to go out with some calm and ease. See you in July! ;)
number 3 is my favorite.. i like the way the rocks seem to just appear from the water, like magic.
ReplyDeleteThanks Sandra. It's a simple long exposure technique, I have used before. But the results are always interesting.
DeleteMersad the first is a very calming image and so is the third. I never realised that it looks more interesting if the hills are to either side of the picture. I'll remember that.
ReplyDeleteThanks Adrian! Glad you found them inspirational.

Beautifully photographed! I love the composition and colors too. What were the settings (how long was the exposure)? Thanks. :)
ReplyDeleteThe exposure was 25 seconds in the first two shots. The last two had an exposure time of 20 seconds.
DeleteThat is so amazing! I would have loved to shoot using the slow shutter coz i very much love the milky water movement, my favorite subject. However, i don't have a tripod, hahaha!
ReplyDeleteThe milky water effect is my favorite too. Will try to do more shots like these this summer.
